How To Get A Google Play Series Page

Similar to the series page set up on Apple Books, Google Play will automatically create series pages for your books as long as all metadata has been entered correctly from your end. We’ll walk you through the steps of how to double-check to ensure that your metadata is spotless!

Log into Google Play

Log into your Google Play Partner Center account here and navigate to your Book Catalog on the left hand side of the page. By clicking within each of your book covers, you can review book details like author, publisher, and description.

If you click on any part of your book details and scroll down, you’ll see a section called “Series name” and “Series number”.

Review this information across all of your books in the same series. Make sure the spelling is exactly the same for “Series name” – this is critical to ensuring that your series page populates automatically on Google Play.

Review Your Metadata

Once your metadata is double-checked and all series information is updated, books within one series should be grouped together immediately. Now all you need to do is search Google Play for one of the titles within your series, click on said title, and find the “Continue the series” section off to the right hand side of the page.

Find your Series Page URL

Clicking “Continue the series” takes you to your Series Page on Google Play. All you have to do at this point is copy the URL from this page and voila, you’ve got the link for your series page set up on Google Play!

All series pages currently display this blue book header image. Unfortunately, it seems this cannot be personalized (for now).

Seeing some inaccurate information or missing books from your series? Go back and check that metadata to make sure your series name has been entered the exact same way for all books.
